What happens when classic storytelling meets the infinite wonders of the universe? Our Upper School students recently answered that question by transforming the back wall of the art building into a stunning, cosmic mural.
This wasn’t just a painting project; it was an exploration of “Orientation in Time and Space.” Using the vastness of the planets as their backdrop, students reimagined the fable of the tortoise and the hare to reflect their own journeys as global citizens. As they moved from theory to practice—studying art movements and then rolling up their sleeves to apply them—they mastered the art of collaboration, creative decision-making, and visual storytelling.
The result is a powerful reminder for our entire Amerasia community: in the grand expanse of the universe, it’s not about how fast you travel, but the heart you bring to the journey. Keep moving, stay determined, and let perseverance be your North Star.
