At Amerasia, our mission comes to life through learning and the relationships we build. Last Friday, Cinema Under the Stars brought parents, students, and staff together for our first major school wide event of the year. The evening gave families time to connect, welcome new members of our community, and enjoy being a part of our community. 

The event reflected our commitment to wellbeing and embracing diversity, bringing families from different backgrounds together. Our featured film, Inside Out, offered a playful starting point for conversations about emotions and understanding one another, connecting with our holistic approach to children’s learning and development. 

The secondhand charity market also gave families an opportunity to support our charitable cause, Planet Wild, and give used items a new home. These small acts of care reflected the sense of responsibility for others and our planet that we seek to nurture in our students. 

We look forward to our next major school event, International Day, on October 17. These shared experiences strengthen relationships and help families feel part of Amerasia.
