At the start of the school year, our littlest learners faced one of their first big challenges: saying goodbye to their parents. There were tears at drop off, but families trusted Amerasia and our toddler teachers to welcome and care for their little ones. Our Montessori classrooms and outdoor spaces are prepared with young children in mind. They offer safe places to explore, choose activities and practise doing things for themselves. Our teachers, who are trained to work with this age group, helped each child settle in with patience and care. Their approach reflects Montessori ideas and developmental insights gained through their training and continual professional development. 

One month later, we see more smiles and growing confidence. The children are learning to explore, tidy up and put their belongings away. At this week’s parent teacher conferences, families shared how much their children have changed. Most all our toddlers now enter the classroom happily, wave goodbye to their parents and begin the day. We are proud of every one of our brave young learners.
