The Children's House Garden

It’s Spring! We have a gorgeous garden!

In addition to being a beautiful feature of Qingdao Amerasia International School, the garden plays an important role in a few subject areas in the Montessori Children’s House Early Childhood program.

Children learn about the parts of plants and plant life cycles in their Botany activities, and now they are able to observe growth and reproduction with roses, hydrangeas, ivy, and other plants. They also practice pouring and watering, which fall within the Practical Life subject area.
