Early Childhood Pick Cherries!

It’s an annual Qingdao tradition! On Friday, May 16th, Qingdao Amerasia International School Early Childhood students and their parents went out to a cherry orchard in Beizhai, Laoshan District to pick cherries.

In their Primary Years Program unit of inquiry, Early Childhood students are inquiring into the life cycle of plants, and this trip gave them an opportunity to experience a crucial, beautiful, tasty part of that process.

The weather was beautiful, the cherries were sweet – what could be better?!
