Halloween Assembly!
Jack-o-lanterns, scarecrows, and costumes made Halloween a party to remember! Children came dressed as ninjas, pirates, Transformers, dinosaurs, and everything imaginable. Wind House hosted an awesome assembly, and the multi-age groups competed in pumpkin carving, scarecrow building, chain making, and dancing! At the end of the assembly, each house performed a dance to their chosen spooky song – we saw brilliant interpretations of “Monster Mash”, “Ghostbusters”, “Time Warp”, and, or course, “Thriller”, performed by every student in the Primary Years, Middle Years, and Diploma Programs.
Meanwhile, Katy, Laura, Mia, and Sabrina had the Early Childhood students making bats and pumpkins out of recycled materials. They sang songs, played, and thoroughly enjoyed the holiday.
Many thanks to Wind House coordinators, and to the parents who turned up to assist with the festivities! (And thanks to Tech Master JD for putting together this awesome video!)
