Over 1,200 guests representing 50 nationalities gathered to celebrate Qingdao Amerasia International School’s 15-Year Anniversary and International Day—a tribute to the diverse cultures and values that define Amerasia.  

The festivities kicked off with the Parade of Nations and an exhilarating Fire Flag Dance, immediately followed by an electrifying showcase featuring the QAIS choir, band, and orchestra. Flags from around the globe waved proudly, infusing the campus with vibrant energy and joy.  

As the morning unfolded, families were treated to a variety of engaging student showcases, musical performances, and cultural presentations. The Global Food Festival elevated the excitement, offering a sensory journey through international sights, sounds, and flavors. Booths celebrated countries including New Zealand, Italy, Poland, Lithuania, Japan, Ukraine, Finland, Türkiye & Kazakhstan, China, Russia, the Philippines, the United States, the United Kingdom, Belarus, Fiesta Hispana, Sri Lanka, South Korea, Palestine, Thailand, Portugal & Malaysia, Serbia & Russia, and the African Union (South Africa, Nigeria, Zambia, Mauritius & Morocco).  

Each booth provided a unique taste of culture—from delicious foods and interactive games to captivating displays and enriching conversations that fostered cross-cultural understanding. As the day came to a close, laughter, music, and vibrant flags filled the air—marking not just 15 years of excellence, but also 15 years of shared experiences, relationships, and growth.
