This season’s After School Activities (ASA) program offered students a vibrant collection of experiences that reflect QAIS’s Montessori and IB commitment to nurturing independent, curious, and balanced learners. From Creative Kids Club, where students explore hands-on artistry, to physical growth and discipline in Golf, Taekwondo, PYP Soccer, Table Tennis, and the new Weightlifting Club, children developed coordination, perseverance, and confidence through purposeful movement.
Academic and creative thinking were strengthened through Montessori Math Club, Board Games, and Math Problem Solving, fostering logical reasoning, collaboration, and a love of inquiry. Cultural appreciation came alive in Traditional Chinese Performing Arts and the handcrafted beauty of DIY Cloisonné, nurturing international mindedness and respect for heritage. The STEM QUEST: The Great Green Challenge saw children enter The Living Room (Amerasia’s Eco Classroom) and get hands on science learning. Together, these activities embody the IB Learner Profile and encourage students to be thinkers, communicators, and caring community members!
