QAIS Students Accepted at Asia’s Top Universities
At Qingdao Amerasia International School, our mission is to inspire a lifelong love of learning and nurture courageous global citizens who help build a more peaceful world. This mission is reflected in the growing success of our students at leading universities across Asia. Over the years, Asian universities have become an increasingly popular destination for QAIS graduates. Each year, 30–40% of our IBDP students apply to universities in Asia, with many receiving high-value scholarships for IB scores between 38–45 points. This year, the QAIS Class of 2026 has already earned:
Two offers from the University of Hong Kong (HKU) (QS #11) for the prestigious Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business and Global Management, with potential 100% scholarships and living stipends
One offer from Hong Kong University of Science & Technology’s (HKUST) Global Business Program with a 100% scholarship
Multiple additional offers still pending from HKU, HKUST, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) , City University of Hong Kong (CityU) , and the National University of Singapore (NUS)
Three QAIS student-athletes are also being recruited for their academic achievement and excellence in basketball and volleyball, which may further strengthen their scholarship opportunities.
