DP2 students recently led the Upper School community in exploring the IB Learner Profile attribute: Balanced. 

Students began with a “Wheel of Life” reflection, shading in areas such as academics, friendships, university goals, emotional wellbeing, and personal growth. This helped them identify strengths and areas for improvement in creating balance in their lives. 

They then stepped outside for fresh air and movement, connecting balance to Peace Day by creating Peace Trees—symbols of harmony and community. 

As the IB states: “Balanced learners understand the importance of balancing different aspects of our lives—intellectual, physical, and emotional—to achieve well-being for ourselves and others.”
