At Amerasia, we believe our greatest strength lies in the powerful partnership between home and school. The Parent Connect team, our dynamic School Parent Association, is driven by dedicated leaders like Alexey (EC Jenny & G1 Sasha), Crystal (Bruce G3), Fay (Monty M1), Monika (David M2, Tudor D1), Nina (Matvei M4), Margaret (Estera D1), and Andrew (Michael D2). Together, they are committed to enriching the academic, social, and cultural development of our students, in perfect harmony with the QAIS mission and vision. 

Our recent kick-off event, energized by a compelling call to action from Dr. Chris Vicari, Director of QAIS, emphasized the unique role parents play in the Lotus 5 framework: Physical, Intellectual, Social, Emotional, and Spiritual wellness. Dr. Vicari inspired parents to share their time, talents, and treasure, demonstrating how these contributions can elevate Amerasia’s initiatives and propel student success. 

Andrew, Parent Connect Leader and proud father of DP 2 Michael, shares, “As a QAIS dad, the Parent Connect gathering was a standout experience. Joining 36 fellow parents for an insightful discussion with Dr. Chris Vicari was truly inspiring. I felt empowered by his vision of how we can actively contribute to crafting the best learning environment for our children.”

A highlight of the day was touring Amerasia’s cutting-edge facilities. The reveal of “The Living Room” our state-of-the-art science lab, promises to ignite a passion for inquiry and exploration in students of all ages. We also marveled at the new gymnasium and fitness room, incredible additions that support not only physical fitness but also the mental and emotional health of our students. 

Our time in Le Café was another memorable moment. Amidst the aroma of coffee and sweets, the room was alive with enthusiasm as new parents introduced themselves and shared innovative ideas for strengthening QAIS and our parent community. 

Leaving the event, I felt a deep sense of excitement and optimism—not only for my son, who is entering his final year, but for the boundless opportunities awaiting all QAIS families.
