Qingdao Amerasia International School (QAIS) was proud to host the final tournament of the Qingdao International Schools Network (QISN) U19 Boys and Girls Football season. The event brought together student-athletes from across Qingdao, including teams from QISS, Milton, HongWen, YCIS, Malvern, ISQ, and WZFS, for a day of spirited competition and connection. 

As a Montessori and IB World School, QAIS is committed to developing the whole child—mind, body, and character. The QISN U19 event showcased not just athletic skill, but also respect, resilience, and sportsmanship. 

Our boys played valiantly, and our girls’ team earned an impressive third-place finish—an inspiring result that reflects our belief in empowering students. 

The true highlight of the day was the strong sense of community. From the warm welcome extended to visiting schools by our upper school band to the live broadcast featuring lively and entertaining commentary by Amerasia teachers and students, full of humor and wit, to the amazing dedication of our Parent Connect team—who ran event sales and coordinated sponsor support—the QAIS spirit was on full display.
