WONDERFUL WORLD SCHOLARS (WSC)
MYP Students, David, Andrew, and Felix, MYP 1, and Aaron, MYP 2, recently participated in the Qingdao Round of the World Scholar’s Cup 2025. Felix, Andrew, and David earned 1st Place in Debate and placed 3rd Overall in the Junior Division. Aaron, MYP 2, won the Jac Khor award for the scholar who achieves the highest score in the Scholar’s Challenge—a rigorous multiple-choice exam, as well as 1st place for the Junior Team Challenge!
The competition is an international academic competition that encourages global citizenship, interdisciplinary learning, and collaboration among students from around the world. The event featured three core challenges: Collaborative Writing, Debate, and Public Speaking, each designed to foster confidence, critical thinking, and articulate expression.
These students exemplified intellectual courage, effective teamwork, and thoughtful communication throughout the competition. Well done!

MYP学生David、Andrew和Felix（MYP 1）以及Aaron（MYP 2）近日参加了2025年世界学者杯青岛赛区的比赛。Felix、Andrew和David在初中组辩论环节中荣获第一名，并获得初中团体挑战第三名。MYP 2的Aaron荣获Jac Khor奖，该奖项授予在“学者挑战”——一项高难度的多项选择考试中成绩最高的学者；他还带领团队获得初中组团队挑战第一名！
该比赛是一项国际学术赛事，旨在鼓励全球公民意识、跨学科学习以及来自世界各地学生之间的合作。比赛包含三项核心挑战：协作写作、辩论和公众演讲，以培养学生的自信心、批判性思维和表达能力。

월드 스콜라스컵(WSC) 훌륭한 성과!
MYP1 David, Andrew, Felix 학생과 MYP2 Aaron 학생은 최근 2025 월드 스콜라스컵 칭다오 라운드에 참가했습니다. Felix, Andrew, David 팀은 토론 부문에서 1등, Junior부 전체 종합 부문에서 3등을 차지했습니다. MYP2 Aaron은 고난이도의 객관식 시험인 스콜라의 도전 과제(Scholar’s Challenge)에서 가장 높은 점수를 받은 학생에게 수여되는 Jac Khor상을 받았고 Junior팀 도전 과제 부문에서 1등을 수상했습니다! 이 월드 스콜라스컵은 전 세계 학생들이 참가하는 국제 학업 경진 대회로 세계 시민 의식, 융합적 사고, 협업 능력을 기르는 데 목적이 있습니다. 주요 경연은 공동 작문, 토론과 대중 연설의 세 가지 영역으로 구성되며, 학생들의 자신감, 비판적 사고력, 표현력 향상에 초점을 둡니다. 이번에 참가한 학생들은 이번 대회를 통해 지적 용기, 효과적인 팀워크, 그리고 사려 깊은 소통 능력을 유감없이 보여주었습니다. 정말 잘했습니다!
