Beginning classical ballet and jazz classes offered by former professional ballet dancer and Montessori/PYP teacher, Kara Harvey. Kara is a well-qualified classical instructor with nine years dance teaching experience. Kara has coached students across the United States from preschool to pre-professional and has been living and working in New York City for the past seven years. Kara holds a BFA in ballet pedagogy, Masters in early childhood education, Montessori certification and is currently teaching second grade at QAIS! Space is limited!

Demonstration Class: 

Our last class of the session will be a sharing. Parents will have the opportunity to watch their children in class. This is a wonderful way for students to showcase all they have learned throughout the program!

 

 示范课: 我们的最后一堂课是公开课。父母将有机会在课堂上看到自己的孩子。对于学生来说，这是一个展示他们在整个项目中所学的好方法。

Class details:

Preschool Ballet (3 and 4 years old)

  • Students ages three and four ** NOTE: students MUST be of three-years-old to join Preschool classes.
  • Class time: 45 minutes
  • An adult responsible for child must be on campus during class time

Ballet K/1 (kindergarten/grade 1) 

  • Kindergarten kids who will be enrolled in 1st grade next year) and first grade students
  • Class time: 1 hour

Ballet 2/3 (grade 2 and grade 3) 

  • Second and third grade students
  • Class time: 1 hour

Signup deadline: October 11

 

Waiting area: parents are welcome to wait in 3rd floor hallway or in the school cafeteria

 

 

Parent Responsibilities:

  1. Purchasing child’s uniform (links will be sent after sign-up)
  2. Dropping child off and picking them up on time **transportation and childcare is not included
  3. Signing Essential Agreement by October 26
  4. No parking inside gate: please park car on road or in parking area across from the front gate

4. 学校不提供停车位，请在学校外面停车
